Is there anyone on your list that you have trouble shopping for? I think the guys tend to be a bit harder to buy for! So, I’ve been rounding up good ideas when I come across them. You can find some on the holiday gift guide. And, in addition to that, I also created a Pinterest Board all about Smart Gifts for the Men in Your Life!

Many of the ideas there are things that my husband would love to have (and frankly, I’d like a few of them too 😉 ). I got to try out one of the items recently and I’m sure my husband is going to love using it too…

The Fellowes Powershred 63Cb 10-Sheet Cross-Cut Shredder with Jam Blocker Technology!

Wowza! Just the name alone sounds impressive. And, this is one impressive piece of technology! If your house is anything like ours, then you just might have a little bit of a paper problem. Too much coming in & not enough going out! We used to have an inexpensive shredder, but it was just more trouble than it was worth! So, for the last many years, we’ve been ripping up sensitive papers by hand. And, also, trying to snip up old cards into a million pieces with scissors. But, no more!! This Fellowes shredder is amazing! My husband is going to MUCH prefer using this to the old hand-ripping method! Here are some key features:

  • Jam BlockerTM technology features an electronic sensor that measures paper and prevents overfeeding, stopping jams in their tracks!
  • SafeSense® technology automatically disables the shredder when hands touch the paper opening through an advanced electronic safety sensor (aka kid safe!). This one is SUCH an important feature to me! Just in case some little kiddo in my house were to turn it on, the likelihood of them seriously injuring themselves is much less with this type of technology!!
  • Cross-Cut blades destroy a single sheet of paper into 399 particles, making it nearly impossible to piece back together! That’s so important living in a state with one of the highest rates of identity theft!
  • Easily shreds credit cards, paper clips and staples for added convenience! I tried an old card with no problems at all! It shredded the card quite well, very quickly!

I’m really impressed with how well this works and definitely recommend it s a gift option for one of the men in your life! And, here’s the awesome part…Fellowes wants one of you to try out this awesome shredder too!!

  1. Wireless Bluetooth Speaker is a great idea. I just got myself one and I love it! I would add an electric razor and a fancy electric grilling thermometer.

  2. I would go an extremely nerdy route and include server transfers, names changes or faction changes in an MMORPG. I know, I know… crazy-nerdy. But hey, it’s what I’ve heard on the list recently! 🙂

  3. We could definitely use a new paper shredder in the house! I also need to add a wireless speaker for my husband’s phone, like Jambox for this year so he can listen to his favorite music.

  4. My boyfriend would love either an iPhone car charger or a Handsfree Blue Tooth ear piece for my phone… He’s also really into cars, so he loves his Navi system and subwoofers.

  5. I think a great gift for guys is a pedicure. I know, I know. But, a guy would never just go get a pedicure on his own but with a giftcard and prescheduled appointment, he just might.
