Easy Slow Cooker Cherry Dump Cake

- 2 cans (21 oz each) cherry pie filling
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- ½ cup (1 stick) butter, melted
- Use butter or cooking spray to grease the bottom & sides of the slow cooker crock.
- Dump cherry pie filling into the slow cooker (use a spatula to spread evenly).
- In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix with melted butter forming a sort of crumb mixture.
- Crumble the cake mixture over the layer of cherries.
- Cover and cook for 4 hours on low or 2 hours on high.
- *Optional - top with 1 cup chopped pecans
- Serve warm and enjoy
