This Chile Con Queso dip is easy to make and is a total crowd pleaser. Perfect for parties and football-watching!

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ medium onion, chopped
  • 2 lb block Velveeta Queso Blanco
  • ½ C salsa
  • 1 small can chopped green chiles
  1. Brown onions & ground beef in a sauté pan or skillet.
  2. Cube Velveeta. Once the onions & beef are cooked, add Velveeta to the pan to start melting.
  3. Add salsa & green chiles to the cheese & meat mixture.
  4. Stir on low heat until cheese is melted and everything is well-combined.
  5. Serve immediately, with chips!
If you like your dip on the spicy side, adding some diced jalapeño to this would be a good addition. We like to keep ours a bit more mild. Also, if you can't find the Blanco Velveeta, regular would work fine.
