Mother’s Day is this Sunday (May 13th)! I seriously don’t know how that happened! The year is going by SO quickly! So, if you still have gifts to make/buy, here are two really easy crafts that your kids can make to give to their grandmas for Mother’s Day. (It’s what my boys’ grandmas received last year ;)! )
Big Brother loved working on this project last year. He painted the whole thing all by himself. See?!
To make it, you just need to start with a plain frame (this one was white) and have the kiddo(s) paint it. Just take out the glass or plastic insert before you let them paint it! 😉 Then, once dry, add on letters, stickers, or other embellishments and use Mod Podge over the whole thing. For ours, I just cut out the phrase with my Cricut on white card stock and then put the Mod Podge over it.
Once it dries, then you’ll have the perfect kid-crafted Mother’s Day frame for their “grammy”!Â
This is SO easy and yet, so cute (especially if you’re a sucker for handprint crafts like me). Just have the kids do handprints in various flower colors. Then, paint on stems & grass and write in the cute saying, “Kids are like flowers and grandmas help them grow!” 🙂
Do YOUR kids make or buy anything for their grandma(s) for Mother’s Day?

These are so cute! I was struggling with what to get my mom from my daughter. We are totally making the flower painting! Thank you!
Yay, Shannon! I’m so glad! Have fun! 🙂 Hope “Grandma” loves her flower garden!
Not for a VERY long time, my boys are now 28 and 31! I think maybe I can snag the Grandsons and make one for my DIL. Thanks for the fresh ideas. Hugs…
Aw, how sweet to make something with the grandsons for your DIL. That is a wonderful idea! 🙂
