It’s now become a tradition to have a little March Madness watch party with some of our collegiate sports-loving friends (that also happen to be good friends from college). And what a March Madness it’s been so far! Only the first week in and there have been quite a few MAJOR upsets!! Between St. Patrick’s Day &  all the madness, this was a great weekend to have a party! But, after being out of town last week, I just didn’t have a major fun-themed undertaking in me. I needed something quick & easy! Enter the DiGiorno Pizza Party Pack!

We picked up one of these party packs at Sam’s Club (you can see the whole shopping experience here on Google+) & it was perfect. As the pictures show, the party pack contains 2 DiGiorno Pepperoni pizzas, 8 breadsticks, and a package of Nestle’ Toll House cookies! As the name suggests, it’s perfect for a party! While the pizzas were in the oven, I was able to cook the breadsticks in our toaster oven! Super easy!

Our kiddos don’t like pepperonis as much because they say they’re sometimes too spicy. But, they LOVE black olives. So, I made one of the pizzas half olive. It was super easy to modify and as you can see, everything came out looking great! In addition to the yummy pizza & breadsticks, I made some extra garlic bread, plus we had celery & plain chips with two kinds of dip. For starters, we just had our simple sour cream ranch dip. But, we also made a container of buffalo chicken dip— it’s easy, always a crowd favorite, and becoming a march madness party tradition.

In keeping things simple, we didn’t have anything too fancy for decor– just our St. Patrick’s Day green table cloth & cute green plates from Sam’s Club. Then, we chose some easy drink options & fun bright orange cups–which works for basketball and St. Patrick’s Day! 🙂 Everyone enjoyed the food & watching the games.

It was great how easy dessert was too. While we were eating, the cookies baked & then we had oven-fresh, warm chocolate chip cookies. Mmmmm! In fact, everyone was so thrilled that quite a few of them were gone before I could even get a picture! 😉

Everything was great & it ended up such an easy way to have some fun with friends!

What do you like to do for fun, low-key “get togethers” with friends?
