I’ve been making these for YEARS and I figured it was time for a comment.
I am a cook and love to play around with recipes but I do not touch ANYTHING about this recipe- it’s sacred!! I have it memorized and make it at least 10 times each fall. I am known by friends and family for making these each fall.
For those saying too cakey- they get more moist and fudgy but the day- hands down our favorite dessert. Thanks for this perfect recipe!

I used the entire small can of pumpkin. 16 oz. They turned out wonderfully.
My son said they are the best thing he’s ever eaten!

Really easy to make and came out delicious. I especially loved that it wasn’t too sweet.

I don’t usually rate or comment on recipes I find online, but I’ve made this recipe three times now, so I think it’s earned a rating!
This year, I found several new pumpkin recipes I wanted to try, but I never got around to all of them. Instead, I returned to this recipe again and again!
My husband had something to do with that. He’s always said he doesn’t like pumpkin or pumpkin spice, but he loves this dessert! It’s opened his mind to the idea of pumpkin in general.
Not only are these pumpkin bars a crowd-pleaser, but they are super simple to make, and it’s easy to get the bake right. I think this will be one of my go-to fall recipes for years to come!

They taste good and they are getting eaten by my family. But they are cake like instead of cookie.
