Do you have elementary age kiddos or little ones who are super into coloring or various art projects? Need a designated homework station? Or, need a place to store all their coloring books, crayons, or papers? Well, there is an awesome solution in the new Chest-R-Desk! It’s a little piece of furniture that is a storage chest, chair, and desk–all in one! Chest-R-DeskTalk about genius! They sent us one to review and I love it! The kids love it! In fact, I think we’re going to need another one (or two) for the other boys! They love having their own special storage for their coloring books & crayons. And, this mama loves that they have a special place to put all that stuff because it means their little table no longer looks like this: Messy deskAssembly of the Chest-R-Desk was easy & the kids are able to use it all on their own (even Little Brother who is not quite 3). I love some of the kid “safety” features too, like the slow-closing hinge on the chest so it doesn’t slam shut. Plus, there is a little cut out under the lid, making it easier to open & helping to prevent little fingers from getting smashed!

Pretty cool, huh?! I think it’s a really good value at just under $60! Plus, it comes with some decorative decals to use if you’d like. Or, you could easily change it up to match your decor with some paint or vinyl cut-outs! I love the versatility (both in its function and its look)! And, I love that its classic, clean design would work well in just about any room or household!

Big Brother of course doesn’t care about any of that stuff! He’s just enjoying a special place to do his homework and color! And, Little Brother likes to use it when Big Brother’s at school! 😉

  1. Thanks for the video clip. I was trying to wrap my head around that first pic and just couldn’t figure it out. Love the idea of versatile furniture. I am sure my kids would love it as well.

  2. Ok, this is amazing! I could totally use two of these! We only have one desk with one chair and the kids constantly fight over it. This is going on our Christmas list this year!
