Ever have trouble fitting everything you need on a traditional calendar? I do! Since leaving my teaching post, staying at home, and starting this little ‘ole blog here, I’ve not been able to find a calendar that I like to keep it all in one convenient place. I’d been missing my blank lesson planning books and would have happily used them to organize all of our stuff, but they’re too big to carry in my purse. So, I’ve been struggling with that! And then, at the eBay on Location event, I met Kim from Mommycosm. One night she pulled this cute, little BusyBodyBook planner out of her purse. And it had blank grid pages–just like my old lesson plan books, only smaller. It seemed just like what I’d been missing! And I was right! 🙂
BusyBodyBook is a line of planners & calendars perfect for busy families–made by busy mom, Joan Goldner. The difference in the BusyBodyBook compared to other planners & organizers I’ve seen is the weekly GRID format, making the BusyBodyBook line really versatile. I received the Academic Year Personal & Family Organizer and the 7-Column UNdated Weekly GRID Pad to review.
I absolutely LOVE my BusyBodyBook planner!! Right off the bat, I like the look of it and there is a sturdy plastic cover to help it take the beating it gets while in my bag. Plus, if grubby little fingers happen to grab it, I can wipe it right off! 🙂 There are additional awesome features in the back, too! An area for appointments and plans, next year at a glance, perforated “to-do lists”, and pockets for storage! All very handy!
But, what makes the BusyBodyBook planner so unique is the grid format and that’s what I really LOVE about it! Each week has a “double-page” layout. On the left, there’s a big open space for doodles, notes, whatever you like and a column for lists. On the right, there is the week laid out, organized in the grid format. There are 5 “untitled” columns for each day which you can label in any way that works for you. If you have a large family, maybe each kid has a column. If you’re going to school, each subject could have a column. Or, one for work, one for church, one for fun events–whatever YOU want and that’s the beauty of it!! And, since each week is customizable, you can change the columns week to week if you need.
The planner now has a permanent home in my bag and has been GREAT for helping keep everything straight. But, I think it’s good to have a calendar that everyone in the house can see so that we’re all on the same page! We have a photo wall calendar by the phone, but sometimes there just isn’t enough room. The BusyBodyBook UNdated Weekly Grid Pad has been perfect for solving that issue and it’s stuck right on our fridge!
The Weekly GRID pad is even more versatile–with 7 columns and completely UNdated! It has a magnetic strip on the back–perfect for hanging on fridges or filing cabinets and is whole punched to put in a binder. The possible ways to use it seem endless–you could even do chore charts, meal planning, or health & fitness plans. And, since it’s completely undated, if there are weeks that your family will be out of town, then there are no “wasted” sheets! And, with all the busyness of the holidays coming up, I think our BusyBodyBook products will be extra great!

I like the perforated to do list.
My daughter keeps a planner for her school work. I would give this one to her!
i would love the no date option so I can organize it my way
I like the weekly grid.
For me it is the empty pages as I could make notes there and not lose them which would make my desk look neater as it is always full of losse papers and it looks so tacky.

I like the “to doodles” page right next to the calendar. I am wordy (yes I know you know) and I write very large. It’s hard to fit everything I want into a little box so that would give me that added room I need 🙂
I love that u can fill everything in yourself.
Thanks for the chance
