Do you love being creative? Looking for a great place for a family outing, a date night, or girls night? Heading out to an As You Wish location would be a great option! A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of celebrating the Grand Opening of the newest As You Wish location in Glendale, Arizona (at Westgate) for a fun #AsYouWishPottery night! #AsYouWishPottery EventAs You Wish opened its first studio in Scottsdale, Arizona in 1995 and has expanded to seven different studios! If you’ve never been before, it’s such a fun process. You pay a small studio fee and then pick your piece(s) to paint from a crazy HUGE variety of items (and a whole variety of prices). Seriously, the entire back wall of the shop was filled with all kinds of fun pieces to paint! As You Wish Pottery StudioOur kiddos were SO excited to pick out their pieces. They picked a shark, dog, and bowl. Then, the adults decided on two larger bowls that would be fun as serving dishes for parties. Then, you decide on paint (colors, types, etc)! There’s SO much to choose from and great employees to help you out! Painting at As You WishThe kids did great! No broken pieces! 😉 And, thankfully, the paint is washable so it came out of the clothes…and stroller that Baby Brother decided to paint! Hahah! A few days later, our pieces were all fired and ready to be picked up. And, we LOVE how everything turned out! As You Wish Painted PotterySuch a great activity! I’m in love with our Nebraska bowls! They turned out SO cute! You can see that these painted pieces would definitely make great, unique, personalized gifts! So, schedule a session before the holidays and do some gift-making. Or…consider a gift card AS a gift!

  1. My kids haven’t gone for awhile and would love to go again. It’s been too long! And. . . . we managed to break the dog bowl my daughter made … and chip the coasters my other daughter made. It’s time for replacements! 🙂

  2. I took my grandkids there a few years ago. They had a great time. I was too busy helping them to do a project for myself. It would be fun to go and do a paint project myself. ~ Merry |SunshineOnMyShoulder.com

  3. This would be a fun activity. Plus every time I will see the finished products would remind me of the day we made them!
