As part of the #InfinityWarEvent (hosted at the invite of Disney), I had the very surreal pleasure of attending the Avengers: Infinity War World Premiere festivities. Read through to have a look at how Marvel Studios celebrated this massively HUGE movie release in Hollywood – both on the red carpet and at the Marvel premiere after party! Avengers Infinity War World PremiereThis was my 5th red carpet premiere experience and boy was it an epic one. Previously, I’ve attended the premieres of Planes, Moana, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, and Thor: Ragnarok. Each carpet experience has been fun and unique, but this one was entirely new level of epic. Given the sheer number of amazing actors in this film and the fact that it has literally been 10 years in the making, this premiere was one for the books! Once we made it through the longest security line I’ve ever seen at one of these events (rightly so), we walked the red purple carpet into the premiere. There was such an excited vibe as all the guests strolled the carpet and took photos with the fun Avengers: Infinity War Premiere backdrops. Here’s a few of my favorite purple carpet photos (I really like this lace dress I got):

After making sure we all got a good photo on the carpet, we headed into a very special Marvel Avengers tunnel leading to the theaters. Yes – theaterS plural! This movie premiere was SO huge  – with so many celebrities, crew, executives, press, guests, fans, etc. – that the movie was shown simultaneously in each of the big 3 theaters on Hollywood Boulevard (The Dolby Theater where the Oscars take place, the El Capitan Theater across the street, and Grauman’s Chinese Theater). Craziness! No matter which theater you were in though, everyone (including the stars) got to walk through the AMAZING area showcasing 10 years of Marvel awesomeness. Marvel Avengers Premiere ExperienceThe walk was lined with costumes from just about every main super hero character in the movies over the last 10 years! Look at how cool that looks down the tunnel! And it was SO cool to see all the costumes close up – the detail on them is amazing! arvel Avengers CostumesThen, there were all kinds of props and items from all the different movies – a lot to see and take in (I think they were prepping us for everything to take in during the movie 😉 )! Marvel Avengers PropsAnd then of course, there was the people watching…or should I say star-gazing?! You guys…there were SO many celebrities. The lighting was HORRIBLE for getting quick photos, so I don’t have many of my own to share. But here’s a look at the professional shots of the celebrities that I actually personally saw inside the tunnel and entering the theater (some of which I literally walked right by or stood right next to): Paul Bettany, Jennifer Connelly, Samuel L. Jackson, Angela Bassett, Colin Jost, Evangeline Lilly, Clark Gregg, Cinta Laura Kiehl, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Laura Harrier, and more!

After soaking up the atmosphere on the carpet as long as we could, we headed into the Dolby Theater to take our seats. (And sadly, they lock-up your phones, so there’s no chance at fun photos inside the theater). This was SO special as it’s not only the theater where the Oscars take place. BUT…this was THE theater where all the cast, crew, and executives (plus their family & friends) were seeing the movie too! Dolby Theater Avengers PremiereAnd what makes that even more special this time is that NONE of the cast members had seen the movie! In fact, none of the cast members had even read the whole script. We were all experiencing it together for the 1st time…and what an experience it was. (*Note – if you’re curious about more information or thoughts about the movie, be sure to read my no-spoilers Infinity War movie review here!)

To kick off the fun inside the theater, we welcomed all of the main cast members (along with directors/producers/& executives) in attendance that night up on stage. What a sight! We were sitting in the very 1st row, so I had quite a fun view! Robert Downy Jr. then gave a both heartfelt and hilarious speech. After the Russo Brothers (directors) talked for just a minute and reminded us that “Thanos demands your silence”, we strapped in for a WILD movie ride. Again – read my Infinity War review for more details on the movie itself! Everyone left the theater abuzz with stunned conversations about what we had just seen. Thank goodness for an after party!

Infinity War Premiere After Party

That’s right…the official Avengers: Infinity War AFTER PARRRRTAY! This was a BIG deal for us as press had NEVER been invited in to a Marvel premiere party before. So, it was VERY special to be invited! Avengers Premiere After PartyIt was a very excited atmosphere with tasty food, drinks flowing, music pumping, people chatting, and lots of celebrities. While I didn’t take photos WITH any of the celebrities (I really don’t like to bother them with asking for photos unless the situation feels just right), we did see many MANY famous people and I tried to snap a few candid photos. I personally saw (or almost bumped into) the Hemsworth family (minus Chris), Tom Hiddleston, Josh Brolin, The Russo Brothers, Evangeline Lilly, Sebastian Stan, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Michael James Shaw (who was doing some seriously awesome dancing), Taika Waititi, Benedict Wong, Michael Rooker, Pom Klementieff and more! Infinity War Premiere After PartySuper cool, right?! It was a completely surreal night and I tried to just take it all in! Hope you enjoyed following along! Avengers Infinity War Premier After PartyBe sure to stay tuned for more Avengers: Infinity War fun and make plans to go see the film in theaters on 4/27!! You’re in for an epic ride!Marvel Avengers Infinity War Poster
