When trying to eat healthier, deciding what to order at a restaurant can definitely be a struggle. There are times when the options can be limited and you settle for something you’re not thrilled with or just a plain old house salad. But salads do NOT have to be plain or boring! We’re sharing 4 ways you can get creative with salads when eating out thanks to the all new Garden Bar at Ruby Tuesday. The Endless Garden Bar features over 55 ingredients that you can mix and match to make your perfect salad. With so many fresh ingredients as options, you really can create a salad to fit any craving you have. There are nearly endless possibilities! So, here’s 4 tasty ideas we came up with:

A Fresh Zesty Salad

This salad is simple yet delicious, with a fresh bed of spinach, sliced carrots, diced cucumbers and grape tomatoes. This salad was topped with the Cilantro Lime Vinaigrette – YUM! I really enjoyed that the cucumbers were diced vs sliced as it made the cucumbers easier to enjoy!

The Fiesta Salad

As a lover of fajitas, this salad was a perfect replica of a favorite dish. The base is the chopped romaine topped with black beans, roasted corn, sliced bell peppers, shrimp, and the cilantro dressing. The shrimp was only a few dollars more and was brought directly to our table by our server.

Fruit Salad

This salad proves that you don’t need to have a salad full of vegetables! The base of this salad is fresh field greens. On top of the bed of lettuce are mandarin oranges, apples, red grapes, and dried cranberries topped with Raspberry Poppyseed Vinaigrette. The fruity dressing on top was the perfect accompaniment to the fruits and greens.

The ‘A Little Bit of Everything’ Salad

This salad was my husband’s choice – a salad with a little bit of everything. It included kale for the base, eggs, ham, mushrooms, mandarin oranges, bell peppers, black olives, and more! It was topped with a classic ranch dressing. So, there is definitely something for any taste you like!

About the Garden Bar…

We love how fresh each salad tasted and we found that the dressings really wove all the flavors together nicely. We were so impressed how flavorful the ingredients were. Along with greens and salad toppings, we found delicious side pairings like potato salad, ham and pea pasta salad, celery with hummus, and a basil veggie pasta salad. The Garden Bar is also unlimited which means you can make a few salads to find your perfect match! LOVE this! You can also purchase the Garden Bar with an entree for only an additional $3.99!  My husband paired the Garden Bar with a hamburger and created his “everything” salad above!Find out More about Ruby Tuesday’s All New Endless Garden Bar
