This easy football party featuring some delicious touchdown dips is part of a shop that has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and The Coca-Cola Company. All opinions are mine alone. #GameDayGreats #CollectiveBias  football-party-idea-touchdown-dips-bar It’s no secret that we’re HUGE college football fans. So, football is a big part of our Saturdays around here! We often get together with friends and family to watch our favorite games with a little homegating (though if we still lived in Nebraska, I think we’d be doing quite a bit of actual tailgating). There’s something that’s just more fun about watching games with friends and fun food! So, putting together a fun football party spread is always a great time – and does NOT have to always be a huge undertaking!football-party-dip-bar For our latest football spread, I put together this tasty “touchdown dips” bar! Dips are usually such crowd-pleasers at parties, so why not make a whole dip bar?! YUM! I wrote on a little chalkboard sign to highlight our “Touchdown Dips”. Easy! And whipping up dip recipes is certainly easier than many other recipes out there! So, this is a fun way to go for a football party! touchdown-dips-football-party-ideasDepending on how many guests you have and how big your table is, you certainly could serve up quite a few tasty dip recipes. Or, it would be fun to have all the guests bring a dip to share! Here’s a few of our favorites for football season:

But, no matter what dips you’ll serve up though, you’ll need some tasty dipping vessels. For this dip bar, we went with some classic veggies (celery & carrot sticks) and a favorite cracker assortment, featuring RITZ, TRISCUIT, and Wheat Thins. The dips we served up was our favorite easy ranch dip, buffalo chicken dip, and jalapeño popper dip. All of them are SO tasty, but the jalapeño popper dip was the star of the show!

With all these dips with a kick though, you need something good to wash them down. And, nothing seems as perfect as some cold Coca-Cola (or Coke Zero if you’re like me) for a football party! We picked up some Coca-Cola Classic and Coke Zero in 6 packs of 1/2 liter bottles. So easy & convenient for a party! Put the bottles out along with some cute paper straws and you’ve there you’ve got your beverage set-up! coca-cola-football-party Of course, you can’t forget a sweet treat either! I particularly love football brownies or fun cupcakes for a football party. Not only are they “finger foods” and easy to eat in a couple bites (without any utensils), but they can double as part of the decor as well. For this party, we went with cupcakes. You can make them yourself or grab some at the store. We picked these up and then I added the fun football items to them! SO easy! football-cupcakesAnd speaking of decor, we kept the decor simple for this party! You can buy a field table cloth or make a football field table cover. So, we put that down on the table. Then, we used a football, the cupcakes, the straws, and our DIY football utensil holder (it’s just a can wrapped with brown paper & then sealed). We also made a simple paper football bunting that we like to hang up as a backdrop! Easy peasy! football-party-decorSo fun! You can pick up everything you need for your own #GameDayGreats party at your local Kroger Banner store. We found deals on both the Coca-Cola and Mondelez products, perfect for our party! gamedaygreatsWhat’s YOUR favorite football idea?
