I LOVE preserving family memories in all kinds of forms (the blog included). Scrapbooking & photo books are some of my favorite things to make. Sometimes though I get overwhelmed and making those things get put on the back burner (read- they NEVER get done). For example, we have SO many fun Disney memories from the past few years, but no scrapbook or photo book for any of it. So, I was thrilled to partner with  Snapfish  to try out their new Disney edition photo book!!
Easy Disney PhotobookLook at how fun the book is!!! I love it!!! I’ve used Snapfish to make photo books in the past and always found them easy to do. But, I REALLY love the features of the newest Mickey-themed books! There are built in Mickey-themed backgrounds and fun embellishments to really help make those magical memories come to life on the pages! And, the process of making the book is really easy!  Disney Mickey Snapfish bookOnce you decide on your book style (I chose the 8 x 11 custom cover), you can then choose “Mickey Mouse Fun” for your theme. There are currently 21 backgrounds as part of the theme as well as some fun embellishments! It’s a premium theme, so you’ll pay $3.00 more to use the background. But, for a Disney vacation photo book, that $3.00 is money well-spent to give the book some extra Disney magic! (The only downside is that you can’t mix & match themes with this one, which is something I hope they change down the road).
Once you’ve picked the theme, then you get started on creating pages. I decided to make a book from our last trip to Disneyland for the Disney Social Media Moms Conference. We had SO many different experiences & pictures from the trip, so I LOVE the flexibility of the page layouts in the Snapfish system! You can move photo spaces around, resize them, add text boxes, etc. And then, there are all kinds of fun embellishments you can add in! Our book ended up being 22 pages, but here’s what a few of my layouts looked like in the Snapfish editor: Disney Photo BookAren’t they fun?! I love all the variety! You can customize the pages to fit your style and your images! I like mine to feel a little more “scrapbook-ish” with different layouts, overlapping photos, and fun extras. So, I really loved the embellishments. The arrows, stars, and large Disney-type font messages are all embellishments found in the system! Disney Snapfish EmbellishmentsThese extra details really help the book look more detailed and well-done! Once you’ve previewed everything, then all that’s left is to order your the book (which often includes free shipping). I was SUPER impressed with the quick turnaround time on my book!! And, the quality is great! The boys were SO excited to look through everything and relive those fun memories! It was a good reminder for me that I need to make a conscious effort to get better about our family memory keeping! So, I’ve already started working on a book from last year’s Disney World trip too! Disneyland Photo BookYou can make your own premium Mickey-themed 8×11 book, starting at just $32.99 (up to 20 pages included at no additional cost, and free shipping). Make your Disney Book here.
