Big Brother headed back to school this week (a 1st grader!!) and took a little back to school gift to his new teacher, hoping for a “smoothie year! 😉 Back to School Smooth Year Teacher GiftWe had already taken in the school supplies in the cute DIY teacher chalkboard tote bag, so I thought something not quite so “teacher-y” would be nice. Cups like these are my favorite! And, it seems like you can find them everywhere these days (usually ranging in price from about $4-$10)! So, we chose one while we were back to school shopping. Big Brother of course picked blue, his favorite color! Ha! 😉 Inside the cup, we added a couple of gift cards to Jamba Juice. Jamba Juice gift cardsReally, gift cards to any sort of place that does good smoothies would work with the saying! All I did for that is just grab some free “smoothie” clip art and make a little tag that says, “Hope we have a smoothie school year!” 🙂 Put the gift cards inside the cup and tie the tag on with a little ribbon! That’s it! Simple and sweet! Easy back to school teacher giftBig Brother was pretty excited for the first day of school now that he has a year under his belt! He looked so grown up and sweet carrying it in to his teacher!  1st day of school

  1. My son goes to a small charter school. The first day I school I baked a tray of Cranberry-Orange biscotti for the teachers and staff. I had a sign that said,” Welcome back. Here is an afternoon snack.” It was a big hit.
