Mmmm….salad and breadsticks! Seriously, so good! In fact, I could even forgo the breadsticks and just eat the salad. Lots of the salad. That combo is iconic to one particular restaurant chain! In fact, I posted this picture on instagramĀ  and everyone immediately knew right where we were! šŸ˜‰ Olive Garden, of course! Olive Garden Salad & BreadstickWhen I was asked if I wanted to participate in a promotion and review Olive Garden’s new “Buy One, Take One” promotion, I was definitely in! In our college years, there were many a date night spent at Olive Garden with Mr. Mom Endeavors, so it’s a bit nostalgic for us. We’ve actually never gone with the kids though. So, this was a good excuse to try it and we were pleasantly surprised!! Olive Garden Family DinnerThe boys did great with their coloring kids menus! We had a smart hostess that sat us at a back corner table and the waiter even complimented us on how well the kiddos did. Was a good move on his part! šŸ˜‰ The kiddos both wanted “long noonies” (aka spaghetti). So, they had that, with broccoli and milk! The portions were good too, so it was enough for them for dinner the next night as well! Olive Garden Kids MealMr. Mom Endeavors and I ordered from the new “Buy One, Take One” promotion! Talk about a good deal! For just $12.95 we got dinner there AND one to take home! Olive Garden Buy One, Take OneFor our dinner at the restaurant, we order the Five Cheese Ziti al Forno and the Fettuccine Alfredo (Mr. Mom Endeavors’ favorite). We had leftovers of that, and then still got to choose our take home option! For that, we got another Five Cheese Ziti al Forno and the Mezzaluna Ravioli. All that, just $12.95 each! Olive Garden Buy One Take One DinnerHaving two nights in a row of no cooking?! Super sweet! All I had to do some whip up some broccoli and we had a nice meal the next night! Mr. Mom Endeavors even had enough for his lunches! Olive Garden leftoversWe didn’t try this, but I bet you could even freeze the meal and have it later. The pasta might get a little soft, but otherwise, it should work! When the price of the normal dishes is basically the same, I think this Buy One, Take One is a great buy.

So, how would you like some nice family dinners or a date night at Olive Garden?! WIN IT!!!
