Capturing True Emotion Photography Workshops Discount & Giveaway {For Phoenix & Tucson}!!

Have a DSLR, but only shoot in automatic mode? Already know how to shoot in manual, but want to take your photography to a new level? Well, I am SO excited to share that Val Westover & Stephanie Adriana are coming to Phoenix and Tucson in March with THREE awesome photography workshops in each location!Photography Workshop I had the pleasure of taking their Capturing True Emotion Photography workshop two years ago (I can’t believe it was two years ago already)! And, I’ve been shooting in manual mode ever since! They helped me understand how my camera so much better. In fact, I even volunteered at their workshop the next time they were in Phoenix! So, I was thrilled to see that they are coming back! This year, they have a whole new class for beginners (or anyone that needs a little refresher)… Exposure Pro. This new class is taking Val & Stephanie back to their teaching roots in a small, open, hands-on environment. A setting like this will be great for really putting into practice everything you’re learning! In the Exposure Pro workshop, Val & Stephanie will teach you the basics with easy to learn, step-by-step instructions on how to take incredible images! You will learn how to shoot in Program, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, and Manual Modes!

And, for those of you that are a little more advanced (or after you take the Exposure Pro class), they are hosting some awesome photography expeditions: Photographing Kids Expedition and the Advanced Photography Workshop at the zoo! The goal of both advanced classes is the same, but just approached a little different. Obviously, in the kids expedition, the focus is portrait photography with kids. So, if you have kiddos at home or you are a portrait photographer, that class would be really beneficial. Plus, you are encouraged to bring your kid(s) with you & you are almost certainly going to walk away with some great shots! For those of you into more artistic nature shots, then the zoo would be a great option! While I LOVE photographing the kids, I really have fun with nature shots and I LOVE bringing my camera to the zoo!

I’m SO excited for these workshops! And, I have fun news for you! First up…a MAJOR discount!! Val & Stephanie have agreed to let me share my “alumni” codes with all of you. So, you can take the Exposure Pro course for just $25!!! That is beyond a steal!

I was JUST telling a friend a few days ago that I’d love to take a photography workshop. I have a Nikon DSLR, but I tend to use it in automatic mode. I’d love to expand my knowledge and work towards becoming a better photographer — especially because I happen to know three great “models” who are not at all camera-shy (my little girls — ages 6, 3, and 10 months). ;)

Thanks for hosting this phenomenal giveaway. I’ll definitely help spread the word.

I have wanted to learn how to use a DSLR so I can feel confident enough to actually buy one. Not sure if having one is a requirement for the class, though.

Yes! You’ll want to have a dslr. The only way to get confident with one is to use it. But, I guarantee you could handle it!

This is exactly what I need! I just got a new camera for Christmas, but I’m still mainly using my iPhone because I don’t know how to use my DSLR settings! lol

Thanks for the opportunity to win a great giveaway!!!
