Peppermint Hershey’s Chocolate Creme Pie

Yum! Did that title or photo lure you in?! I assure you, this pep­per­mint choco­late pie does indeed taste as good (or even bet­ter) than it looks! But, I need to let you in on a lit­tle secret…it’s not home­made! That’s an Edwards® Her­shey®‘s Choco­late Crème pie with pep­per­mint good­ness added (by me) to make it a lit­tle more fes­tive for the holidays.

Despite my best efforts and inten­tions to get “it” all done and make entirely from scratch good­ies, it some­times just doesn’t hap­pen. Last year while I was suf­fer­ing from the first trimester yuck, it didn’t hap­pen at all. In fact, not much cre­ative or fun hap­pened at all (con­se­quently, there is a huge lack of Christ­mas posts & pic­tures from last year). So, if you ever find your­self too busy or too sick to make some­thing bril­liant from scratch,Edwards Crème pies are a great way to go! So, to “make” this deli­cious dessert, you’ll need to go to the store and grab an Edwards® Her­shey®‘s Choco­late Crème Pie. Then, you’ll want to take one candy cane & crush it up into fairly fine pow­der. Sprin­kle the crushed candy cane (and a few pep­per­mint bak­ing chips if you’d like) over the creme pie. Serve up the pie on a pretty plate and you’ve got a really easy hol­i­day dessert! Seri­ously, the taste was SO good! I’m sure the pie is great on it’s own. But, the addi­tion of the crushed pep­per­mint was per­fect dur­ing this hol­i­day season!
