In a house of three boys under the age of 6, we’ve gone through LOTS of diapers, thousands I’m sure. Right now, two of the three are still in diapers and I’ve tried just about everything out there. What I’ve come to find out is that all diapers are NOT created equally! And, when you have a busy 2.5 year old toddler that likes to play with sans clothes, it’s imperative that you have diaper on him that will do its job!

Thank goodness that mess was just from playing in the mud and his diaper held! YIKES! Honestly, in recent months we had turned to some less expensive, generic diapers. They seemed to be doing a fine job. But, then, our little guys (4 months) had 3 MAJOR diaper blowouts (all in his car seat). It was awful! We rarely experienced that with the older two and I couldn’t figure it why we were having that issue with Baby Brother. Then, I remembered that I never did generics with them. For the most part, we always bought Huggies.

Then, Little Brother started having diaper issues too. TONS of horrible diaper rash– you know, the kind where their little bottom is almost bleeding. Poor thing!! It was terrible. There was a  first with him too where his diaper didn’t hold throughout the night. Nothing like waking up to pee-soaked jammies, blanket, and bed. Not fun.

So, we promptly returned to Huggies Snug & Dry diapers! I actually ordered them from online Walmart.com, where they have a sweet rollback deal on the the super packs! With the stores being SO busy this time of year, I love the ease of shopping online. So, thankfully, we now have big cases of Huggies Snug & Dry for both of our little guys!

Since returning to Huggies, Baby Brother has not had a single diaper blowout (which this mama is SUPER happy about, as cleaning the car seat over and over is NO fun)! He’s clearly happy in his Huggies Snug & Dry diapers!

Little Brother’s diaper rash has improved. And, even though he REALLY knows how to put a diaper to the test…we haven’t had any more leaking! Thank goodness!! It’s so nice to not be having diaper issues at the moment and to have been able to score a nice deal all from the comfort of my house! Even if you’re not in the diapers stage of life at your house, diapers are always a welcome gift to new moms! And, I definitely recommend Huggies as a good option! Mickey thinks so too! 😉

Have YOU ordered diapers online? What’s your go-to brand?

  1. We also use Huggies at home (they use the little bit cheaper Luvs at daycare. Daycare changes diapers every HOUR and that is a lot of diapers for twins!). I tried quite a few other options, but Huggies have been by far the best. I actually subscribe to Amazon’s Subscribe & Save. As an Amazon mom and Prime member, I get 20% off and they get delivered to my house however often I ask for. It is a real life saver. I know there are some months that I could get coupons or deals and save a few bucks, but the amount of time I save by not doing that and having them automatically delivered is priceless.

  2. This is only diaper we use. We tried many other. People recommended Pampers for the soft and cozy feel, but he got diaper rash within one day. We love the Snug and dry. at 2.5 yrs, he can hold a lot more now, the deluge is bigger. But no great flood yet. Thanks Huggies. We get ours from Costco
