Learning Photoshop with Lynda.com {Giveaway reminder!}

A lit­tle over a week ago, I shared some info about online learn­ing with Lynda.com. Since then, I have the chance to exper­i­ment with the site more and look over some of the pho­to­shop classes. Here were just the 1st six options that popped up when I was search­ing for pho­to­shop classes:Awe­some! I’ve had some already-made actions from the Cof­fee Shop Blog for ages and have had the hard­est time even fig­ur­ing out how to load and run them. Sad, I know. But, true.

Well, thanks to Lynda.com, I’m pleased to say that I got it fig­ured out. Woot! In fact, I learned mul­ti­ple ways to install my actions and then fig­ured out how to run them. Then, in no time at all, I was able to run some of those actions and get a nice por­trait edit on one of my new favorite pho­tos. The shot straight out of the cam­era on the left isn’t bad. But, with the por­trait action run on it, I think it has a more pro­fes­sional look to it. It’s one of the things I’ve been miss­ing with some of my pho­tos. So, I’m thrilled that I’ve finally got­ten at least that fig­ured out. And, with Lynda.com, I’ll be able to learn a whole lot more when­ever I have the chance to watch one of the videos. I LOVE all the options!
