Healthy Baby Happy Earth {$50 Gift Certificate Giveaway!!!}

I’m so excited to intro­duce to you my favorite place to get some of my must-have baby prod­ucts.… Healthy Baby Happy Earth!

It’s a cute lit­tle brick and mor­tar store located in the heart of his­toric down­town Glen­dale, spe­cial­iz­ing in “tra­di­tional baby care with a mod­ern twist”. And, for all of you who don’t live in the Phoenix area, they have an online store so you can order from any­where in the coun­try! They offer a whole vari­ety of prod­ucts, but if you’re espe­cially inter­ested in natural/organic prod­ucts, baby wear­ing, breast­feed­ing, and/or cloth dia­per­ing, then Healthy Baby Happy Earth is def­i­nitely one to check out!

Because the store is located in a his­toric house, all the prod­ucts are orga­nized by room. It’s adorable and makes it easy to find things! Let’s take a lit­tle tour of some of the high­lights… This is part of the largest main room that you’ll walk into from the entrance! On the back wall you’ll find a whole array of cloth dia­per­ing prod­ucts with brands like Fuzzi­Bunz, Bum­Ge­nius, Happy Heinys, and more! In the orig­i­nal kitchen, there are a bunch of feed­ing & bathing prod­ucts with brands like Skip*Hop, Beaba, Green Sprouts (and more)! Through­out the store you’ll find great toys, swad­dling blan­kets, dia­per bags, and crib prod­ucts. If you’re inter­ested in baby wear­ing, they carry a vari­ety of brands & styles to fig­ure out what suits you best! They even have a room that can be used for pri­vate lac­ta­tion con­sul­tants, nurs­ing your baby while shop­ping, and weight checks. Thus, there are a lot of breast­feed­ing prod­ucts in the store! Breast­feed­ing prod­ucts is actu­ally how I stum­bled upon the store. Just before my due date with Lit­tle Brother (29 months ago), I pulled out my Medela pump and noticed mold in the tub­ing. I knew I didn’t have enough time to order from Medela and yet, those parts aren’t sold in the larger chain stores. Fran­tic, I found a list of autho­rized Medela sellers/stores and there was Healthy Baby Happy Earth. And, hon­estly, I was so ner­vous about going. With my breast­feed­ing strug­gles and the “crunchy” sound­ing name, I was wor­ried that I would be met with a lot of overzeal­ous pro-breastfeeding judge­ment. But, it wasn’t that way at all. I was very pleas­antly surprised!

The store is run by a mom & daugh­ter team who gen­uinely care about what they do and their cus­tomers. They lis­tened to me and I didn’t feel any judge­ment about not being able to exclu­sively breast­feed at all. Through them, I got extra help & sup­port that I’m not sure I would have found oth­er­wise. I rented a hospital-grade pump from them after the birth of Lit­tle Brother and Baby Brother (see­ing an increase in my sup­ply with both as com­pared to Big Brother). I also got con­nected with a local pedi­a­tri­cian who is also a board cer­ti­fied lac­ta­tion con­sul­tant spe­cial­iz­ing in moms with breast­feed­ing issues! It’s the per­sonal touches like these that make it a won­der­ful place to shop & support.
