I can’t believe Baby Brother is already over a month old! In the newborn haze, the days seem to blur together and suddenly weeks have gone by! But, thankfully during these last few weeks I’ve managed to take some good pictures of Baby Brother. This past spring, I rounded up a bunch of newborn photography tips and shared newborn photos I took of a friend’s daughter. I’ve been so excited to practice with Baby Brother. So, you can imagine that I’ve taken a lot of photos!

It all started the first morning the hospital when we had some awesome natural light…

Then, I’ve been playing around at home when I can. It’s been harder than I anticipated to find time to do a “proper” newborn photoshoot–between needing a sleepy & well-fed baby, cooperative or busy older brothers, and good light, it can get tricky. But, I think we’ve managed to snag quite a few keepers!

One of my favorite things was doing a little shoot in the back of the Tonka dump truck! Rather fitting for this all boy household, don’t ya think?!

And, because they are my favorite, I’ve been taking lots of photos of these adorable, little tiny baby toes! I love them so much we even have a plaster imprint of them now! 😉

So, what’s one to do with all of these fun newborn photos?!  Why, make baby announcements, of course! 😉 I was thrilled to try out Tiny Prints for the first time to make them. The site was super easy to navigate and creating the announcements was a breeze. The only difficult thing for me was just deciding on which announcements to get. There were so many awesome styles to choose from. First, you have to decided on how many photos you want on the card & then pick a design from there. I decided on ones with multiple photos and I ended up making five different options to choose from!

#1

#2

#3

#4

#5

We ended up going with #1 and #2, because we both liked those two a lot and yet they were so different. One a little more traditional; one a little more creative & fun! Since this is likely our last time doing this, why not get both?! The shipping & service were great, so I was so excited when they arrived in the mail. I’m pleased to report that the quality is excellent. There was even an option to include a photo or two on the back of the card! So, we added this shot of all the brothers! 🙂

Now, I just need to finish addressing them so we can’t get them mailed out!

Do you have a need for some announcements (or maybe will soon)?…
