Footprint Ghosts

To go with our special ghost fruit treats today, I decided we should make footprint ghosts. I’m such a sucker for the handprint/footprint crafts!  Therefore, I happen to think these are SUPER cute!

All you need for this is dark construction paper, white paint (preferably of the washable, non-toxic variety), a black marker, a paint brush/sponge and some cute little tootsies! (Depending on what you decide to do with the finished products, you might also need scissors & tape/glue).
Just paint the bottoms of said cute little tootsies and apply the painted foot to your dark construction paper.  After the paint dries (which should be rather quickly), use your marker to give the ghosts a face! And, that’s it! :)
Then you have so many options…make adorable cards to send to family, cut them out and hang them around the house for decorations…or create some type of ghost scene.  I opted to do family ghost pictures (one for us and one for our friends whose kids I watched today).
So, here’s the mommy ghost and her two bootiful boys (the daddy ghost was at work):

And, here are the 3 siblings:

A fun, quick, and cute way to preserve memories of those little toes before they are big, stinky, and won’t participate in cheesy super cool crafts with you anymore. ;)
